Steve Ludwin, a semi-retired punk musician has been injecting himself with potentially deadly snake venom for nearly 30 years. Currently, the only antivenoms available are synthesized from horse blood which can be problematic inside the human body. Ludwin is being monitored by teams of scientists, who are assessing whether it is possible to create a new, anti more effective antivenom based on his partially self-immunized blood.
